Don't let the term "Amateur" fool you, Indian River County's Amateur Radio Emergency Service's (IRCARES) is a group of highly trained and dedicated volunteers. Training includes the FEMA IS-100, 200, 700, 800 courses, and the ARRL Emergency Communications Course Level 1.
